Peonies and Sweet peas

I think this is possibly my favorite time of year! Collecting the flowers for this weeks wedding, foxgloves, dasies, peonies, astrantia, sweet peas, I love them all!
Last week we did two weddings, both embraced this time of year, but with a differnt slant, one, at Up Waltham BarnsUp Waltham Barns,

 

 and one at Farbridge,Farbridge.org.co.uk, one classic and one with a more rustic feel, both brides chose flowers, that too me, complimented their venues perfectly!

Summer Vintage in Hampshire

Vintage continues to be popular, but the beauty and skill of this trend is in the subtley
 and attention to detail.

With each season comes a different take on it, using pale pink peonies, 'Quick Sand' roses, sweet peas and astrantia, this weeks bride had gentle colours to compliment her bridesmaids beautiful sage green dresses, all six of them!
