As I write this post it is still dark outside, and as the days lean towards Winter I can help thinking of Christmas and getting excited! Mince pies, candles, and of course all those wonderful winter foliage's and berries! For me the beginning of Christmas starts with our Christmas workshops. Taking place at Bridge House, we are running four workshops this year, and a change from previous years we are holding two at different times to make them more accessible to people who work full time.

Starting with coffee, homemade mince pies and cakes, we have a chat about new trends for Christmas, looking at different, often simple but effective ideas for decorating your home, before a more practical demonstration on how to make a Christmas Wreath or table centre.                                                                          Then there is a chance to make your own!

Often people come back year after year. The wonderful thing is that every single wreath that leaves Bridge House is different. The selection of different foliage's, ribbons, dried fruit, pine cones and berries means there is lots to choose from, and well established wreath makers come as it is all here, no need to put your wellies on and trudge through the country side before you start!
However a pair of fingerless gloves would not go a miss if the weather's cold!
And this year we also have a pop up shop selling lots of Christmas goodies, candles, bunting, decorations along with the all important floral sundries, should you feel so inspired you wish to make more arrangements at home!
I look forward to seeing as many of you as possible at out Christmas workshops, if you would like any more information please email me Susanna@tiger-rose.co.uk, or give us a call on 01730 829989.
